The 35th Annual PSBMB Convention: A Resounding call for greater collaboration in biosciences

Transdisciplinary research was the theme of the 35th Annual Convention of the Philippine Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PSBMB). Entitled “Transdisciplinary Research: Pushing the Frontiers of the Biosciences”, the conference was hosted by the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, University of the Philippines Diliman, on the first two days of December 2008. Theauditorium of the National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (NISMED) in UP Diliman served as a locus for the congregation of some 200 members of the Philippine biosciences community, both from the academe and from other private and public agencies.
